I don’t have an embroidery machine can I use the Octi-Hoops? Yes. Even if all you own is a Treadle sewing machine.With these hoops, you will not have to stretch your fabrics between 2 rings. You don't need to learn software, because there is no software required. You can take an image from a coloring book, clipart or a photo and embroider it on anything from baby socks to dog collars. One of the amazing featues of this hoop is how well it controls the fabric so you don't need a foot at all for just about every fabric. If you've done Free-Form/-Free-Motion Embroidery before, you know that your hands become sore, not with the Octi-Hoops! Your hands won't hurt, your eyes won't burn and you'll feel as though you've taken a vacation, because it releases endorphins that will make you want to stay at your machine for days!
	This package comes with 3 different hoop frames that are engineered for adhesive stabilizer. You stick the stabilizer onto the back of the specially designed backside and then simply lay your fabric down and embroider.
One of the features of these hoops, is that you use specially desined handles to steer the hoop. These handles force you to hold your hands in a relaxed ergonomically correct position so you sit straight (eliminating back aches) and your hands are forced to be in the best position possible so you don't have risk of injury to your hands or wrists.

Clare will teach you the basics of machine embroidery; how to stabilize difficult fabrics, how to use these amazing hoops for mending garments that you probably were unable to repair before. Bernina Brackets Explained !

There are 3 brackets for the Bernina artista 730, 200, 630, 640 and Aurora, 440, 430 machines.

If you have any of the Sliding hoops from Hoop-It-All, you received a bracket with your kit. Determine which bracket you ordered your hoop kit to include and see below for information on the other brackets that are available for your machine.

Standard Bracket With our standard bracket your machine thinks it is using your machine’s oval hoop. This is important for using small and medium designs. The oval hoop, has an oval shaped sewing area. If you want to sew out a rectangle shaped design that completely fills int the entire hoop sewing field. using our hoops and you use the standard bracket you will be forced to split your design into 145mmx119mm squares (To blend designs these measurements may not be used.) Refer to the blue area on the template image shown within the hoop illustration. (a)		The Super Giant Double-Wide hoop is more than 4 times larger than your machine's oval hoop.
		This means that in order to fill in the entire area of our Super Giant Double-Wide hoop, you would need to split into 8+ sections. (b)
Mega Bracket The Mega Bracket tells the machine that you are using the Bernina Mega Hoop. Your machine is designed to protect you from sewing out a design larger than the hoop’s sewing area. When you enter a design that is larger than your hoop’s sewing area, the Mega Bracket tells the machine that the design must be split into sections. Your machine automatically splits the design and then tells you when to slide the hoop to the each position that is shown within your machine’s editing screen.
The benefit of using our Mega Bracket, is that you can use our hoops and the machine thinks it is using your machine’s Mega Hoop. Our Super Giant Long and Super Giant Double-Wide hoops are much longer than your Mega hoop. ( c) Our hoops allow you to slide anywhere along the hoop rails. Our Mega hoop slides just as your Mega Hoop into 3 positions and the bracket slides onto the rails.
		Bonus Bracket The Bonus Bracket is designed to tell your machine that you are using the center section of the Mega Hoop. Because of this, you will enjoy less thinking in order to sew out a rectangle design as shown here. (d) So if you want to completely fill in the area in only 6 splits, you will use the standard bracket for 2 splits and the Bonus bracket for 4. If you were using the standard bracket you would need to split into 10 Pieces.
